Tips to make online ads work for you

Raise your hand if you’ve created social media ads that fell flat!?! I know I have! While there are some lessons to learn in how to work the platform you’re using for your ads, there are some tips that come before the ad even launches that can help increase your success ratio.

In this week’s vlog we’re diving into a few key elements you’ll want to create some time for before you hit the “go live” button on your ad. Here’s a quick reference list:

  1. Create the right offer for the right audience - The right bait will catch the fish you want. Not all offers are created equal. Be sure you take the time to create an offer your audience will latch on to. Whether it’s something they’ll get for free or something you’re selling, the right offer will make all the difference in getting the engagement you’re looking for.

  2. Create a landing page that tells a story - Once you get someone to click on your offer, they’ll need to be directed to a landing page of some sorts to tell them about the offer. Be sure that you include details on what’s being offered, what’s included, what benefits and features they can expect, and maybe even share a testimonial from some folks who have used your product or service.

  3. Create online visibility for real-time interaction - If someone is attracted to the offer you're putting out there, be sure you have the time and space to respond to questions, comments, and online interaction. This may come in the form of emails, social media comments, direct messages, and the like. People want to know who they’re doing business with and that there’s a face behind the ad or brand. Be sure you’re visible with current social media content and a plan to respond and engage with the audience.
